Etna Mini Xmas Edition

The Christmas bike party for young bikers aged 5 to 12. A city route, within the historical centre of Milo, easy and within everyone’s reach. At the end of the race panettone and fruit juice for all participants.

PROGRAMME AND RULES

PARTICIPATION
Children of both sexes aged between 5 and 12 years (born between 2013 and 2020) are eligible to participate.
ROUTE
The routes will be different depending on the category to which they belong. The route will be easy, starting from Piazza Belvedere and totally within the town centre of Milo, from 400 metres to approximately one kilometre, with small natural and artificial obstacles, to be covered several times depending on the category.
CATEGORIES
Mini Baby 5 to 6 years – boys and girls born in 2019/2020 (no ranking)
Mini 1: 7 years – born in 2018 boys and girls with separate classifications
Mini 2: 8 years – born in 2017 boys and girls with separate classifications
Mini 3: 9 years – born in 2016 boys and girls with separate classifications
Mini 4: 10 years – born in 2015 boys and girls with separate classifications
Mini 5: 11 years – born in 2014 boys and girls with separate classifications
Mini 6: 12 years – born in 2013 boys and girls with separate classifications
DEPARTURES
Mini Baby 10:30 a.m.
This is followed by all other starts divided into categories. Where possible, the start of several categories will be merged.
SAFETY MEASURES
The use of protective helmets is compulsory.
REGISTRATION
Online on the Etna Marathon website from 30 December. Registrations will be closed once 100 participants (total of all categories) have been reached.
Please note: it will not be possible to register on-site on the day of the event
PARTICIPATION FEE:
Registration is free for all participants.
RACE NUMBER COLLECTION
At the information box in Piazza Belvedere – Sunday 5 January from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
FIRST DEPARTURE: Mini baby at 10:30 a.m., followed by all others.

GENERAL RULES
Participation is at one’s own risk. By registering (also at the hand of a third party) the participant waives all claims, including those of third parties, against the Organising Association and all physical and legal entities of other organisations involved in the event.
By signing and sending the registration form, the participant declares that the child participant owns a valid medical certificate for non-competitive activity and that he/she has read these regulations. The parent or legal guardian of the participant expresses consent to the use of images and data, following Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 GDPR.
He/she also consents to the organising committee using any photos or filming taken of the participating and/or accompanying children during the event for the sole purpose of promoting the event or other events organised by the organising association.
